Insanity

Caught by a sudden streak of insanity, she found herself driving northwards instead of west, where home was. Traffic was heavy, but she didn't care. Her sole aim was that particular hypermarket near the famously clean bus station. It was like a chant that filled her whole head which went on and on " Tesco.tesco.tesco. Run in, grab, pay, run. Tesco.tesco.tesco. Run in, grab, pay, run"

After enduring the horrible rush hour traffic, she arrived at her destination safely, without any casualties and without causing casualties. Finding a parking as quickly as she could, she jumped out of the car, locked it and walk quickly but coolly towards the entrance of her destination.

"Hmmm... there aren't many people here today. I don't think it would be that difficult to locate IT. Hopefully it's still there" she thought to herself. She past by a shop that would normally stop her in her tracks breathing in the strong aroma of coffee which she so loved, but today was different. Just allowing herself one slight whiff of coffee, she willed herself not to be distracted from her mission and walked on without even glancing back. " Later, later" she told herself.

As she faced the main entrance of the hypermarket, she felt her heart pounding in her chest as she looked up and saw the big banner. Her head hurt with all the excitement, but she just didn't care. She looked around for that thing she was looking for. First coolly, as though she owns the place and then a little more panicky when she realised she hadn't locate it. "where can it be? where?!" Panic seized her, she was walking quickly now, up and down the rows and rows of items, searching - almost- frantically for it. Unable to contain her panic anymore, she blurt out "May I asked please, where is the book section located?" to the worker checking stock. "Right over there, near the entrance" she replied with a smile. A wave of relief swept over her as she walked once again, composed and dignified towards the direction the worker had instructed. Upon reaching, she did not see what she was looking for. Panic struck her once again, and this time, it came with a huge wave of disappointment. "It's not here anymore... It's gone.." she said to herself sadly. She saw another worker, stacking up books, minding her own business and told herself that she will give it one last try. She was more specific this time, "Where can I find the Harry Potter book, please?" The worker looked up from her work and pointed towards shelves her short self could not see. "It's over there, as you walked in the entrance, you should be able to see it" Thanking her, she walked as fast as she could forward, and there! There she saw it!!!

ROWS AND ROWS OF HARRY POTTER!!!

Drunk with glee and so relieve that it was still available at RM69.90, she couldn't help but take photos.

Happily, she paid and left. Hugging the book closely to her. It was her new treasure (for the next few months) and she absolutely loved it.

Unable to resist the urge, she took another photo of it while she was safely in the car with the doors locked.

And when she reached home, she caress the book tenderly as if it was a child before lunching into an attack and started reading.

She was me. :)

*laughs*

I finished the book. It was brilliant. No spoilers. Have fun reading it people.

ps. can i be a writer next time?

week 5

Week 5 for MMU students has come to an end. Week 6 brings lots unhappiness for the sane and happiness for the insane because the midterm exams is here!

FEVER

Anyways, me is not here to blog about exams (oh pluuueassse! I HAVE a life) I shall tell you about my week regardless your screams of "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I don't wanna know! My eyes! My eyes!"

*ignores screams*

Monday
Nothing la. Can't remember.

Tuesday
I went to Seoul Garden for the first time and I promise it will be the last. It was fun to hear the guys yelping in pain when the oil splashed around, fun to bbq the meat and eat them burnt and it was fun because of the company I had.

Food...

But the big turn off was the after effects. It wasn't worth my RM21 for the food the serve. Everything was so "ajinamoto-fied" till I could feel the dry feeling in my mouth till the next morning!

Tsk .. tsk... tsk..

Plus, the food gave me a stomach ache. =(

So, never again will I go there.

Wednesday
Ahhhh... shopping day! Went to JJ with Amanda. We were just window shopping.. Looking, browsing... then LO AND BEHOLD! I saw it! I couldn't not buy it. So i bought it. Orange beach pants! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! and essential gym shorts. *laughs*

Amanda and I also tried on some skirts. *grins* But of course, we didn't buy. Smart people like us, will wait for our mothers to go and ask them to buy. JJ is mommy(s) territory.

Oh ya, after that, I met up with "the people" and "you know who". " You know who" had a debt to settle with me and "the people".
*evil laugh*
Coffee bean! Yummy.... Spent a good time there getting to know "the people" better. =) I had a great time. Thanks to you all!

Thursday
Waaaaaaaaaaa. I brought Ai Jen, Amanda and Sherri to gym! Made them work out. Entertaining for me, tiring for them.
*laughs*
We should do it again. SOON. Soon as in next week. You people will thank me for this one day...

Friday
Had dim sum breakfast... Wheeeeeeeeeee!

Walking to dim sum..

That's about it. Study time!

Friends

Sometimes, all you need is a group of friends, a nice cup of chocolate milkshake/coffee to have a great time together...

Of course, you need laugher too...

You may need to be in an art cafe, just in case your company gets boring, you have other interesting things to focus on. Like, fossil boxes.

xp

ps. company wasn't boring. *grins* I had a great day. Kelantan coffee kills. People who don't drink coffee, don't ever try it.

Suzzie Teh and MBO

Just in case you are wondering "what on planet earth is Suzzie Teh and MBO" and "how on earth are they related", let me tell you this. They are not related at all! * hah!

First, let us talk about Suzzie Teh...

Suzzie Teh is the name of the shop who gives the best ever steamboat in the heart of Bandar Sunway. It's not like pathetic Carry On in Malacca where all they serve is cheap meat and processed food. It's ....it's every gluttons heaven!

*drool...drool...drool*

See, the amount of people.. we waited for an hour just to get a seat...

You have crab, huge huge prawns, lala, cockles, meat, fish paste thingy that looks very much like intestines, more meat, more seafood, lots of green green veggie, bountiful mushrooms of different kinds, oh-so-yummy fishballs with meat filling in the middle...

*drool..drool...drool*

They have the nicest ever coffee jelly and varieties of ice cream..

*burp*

See the food!!! I wantttttt..... *whine*

Well, me and Marina, Daphne and Bel went to Suzzie Teh last weekend. We LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Although we didn't get to see Suzzie Teh's son, the meal made up for everything.

The next morning... After effects of too much food

Next, we talk about MBO.

Introducing, MBO!

There's nothing much to say here. Except, I'M SO BOYCOTTING GSC IN MALACCA FROM NOW ON!

Why?

-MBO (the new cinema) is much nearer to my home
-MBO has nice big comfy seats
-MBO is better from GSC

Some may say GSC 's pop corn is unbeatable, but me.don't.care. I go there for movies, not pop corn. If i want good pop corn, I shall just wait for pasar malam on Wednesday and go to the lady that sells pop corn for only RM1! It's nice and buttery and if you're lucky, you get the super duper caramel-ly ones.
